June 7, 1932 — December 15, 2016
Our beloved Father and Poppy, Shirman Sverre Milliner, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Dec. 15, 2016, surrounded by his daughters.
He was born on June 7, 1932, in Kamas, Utah, to William and Nora White Milliner, the 10th of 11 children. He married Mary Coleman, his high school sweetheart, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple following an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army.
Shirman was artistic and creative. He was an inventive and successful businessman. His greatest passion was people. He extended love, acceptance and generosity to all he knew and met. This is our most treasured gift from him.
He is survived by daughters, Carrie (James) Morrell, Marty (Bryan) Richmond, Dana (Robert) Earl; 14 loved grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and his devoted sister, Shanna VanWagoner. He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Mary.
