Aaron Gibbs Webber, our beloved son, grandson, brother and friend passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2014, from metastatic melanoma. He was surrounded by his immediate family in his home in St. George, Utah.

Aaron was born May 22, 1985, to Steven Gibbs Webber and Jill Nichols Webber in Ogden, Utah. He was named after his Great Grandfather, Aaron Gibbs. He is the grandson of Richard M. and Judy Gibbs Webber of Ogden. He is also the grandson of Kent C. and Florence Nichols of Ogden. Aaron has two brothers, Steven Kent Webber and Joseph Lee Webber. He has one sister, Alexis Webber. He is survived by many uncles, aunts and cousins with whom he was very close.

He moved with his family to Sandy, Utah, in 1990. Graduating from Alta High School, where he was on the football team and he ski raced on the Snowbird Ski Team for many years. Aaron was an Eagle Scout and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He attended Utah State University and the University of Arizona.

Aaron had decided on a career in the golf industry, while living in Tucson with his brother Steven. He worked for five years at various golf resorts in Tucson, Arizona. After moving to St. George, Utah, in January of 2012, he began work at SunRiver Golf Club. He found a home there due to his close relationships with Neil Economy, Jimmy Blair and the residents of SunRiver.
Aaron was known for the sparkle in his eye and the mischief in his smile. He was kind, polite and he always wanted to be known as a “good guy.” He especially cared for his family and close friends. He took his role as big brother very seriously and he was always there for his siblings whenever they needed him. He maintained a very close relationship with his extended family and enjoyed skiing, golfing, boating and the outdoors. Aaron enjoyed living life fully.

We will miss Aaron deeply. We always knew we could count on him and his passing has left a huge hole in our hearts.
