Dennis Spencer Yack, 79, passed away Friday March 11, 2022 at his home in St. George.
Dennis attended Union High School in Roosevelt, Utah. He served in the U.S. Navy for six years. He worked as a conductor on the Union Pacific Railroad until his retirement. He loved spending time with his wife, children, many family members and friends. He enjoyed road trips on his Harley, playing golf, pickleball and billiards at Sun River, St. George.
Dennis is survived by his wife; Denise of 50 years. Children; Larry, Debby, Ed, (Michelle), Dean (Denise), his five grandchildren, brothers Gaylon (Katherine), and Lane (Penni) and his four sister in-laws. He was dearly loved by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents William and Gussie Yack.
Per Dennis’ wishes, a private service for immediate family only will be held at Pine View Mortuary followed by cremation. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
