Ronald Lee Damm passed away Dec. 6, 2015. He was born May 6, 1937, in Cleveland, Ohio. He moved to California for a time, then retired to St. George in 2002.
Ron is survived by his wife, Gennie; daughter, Diana Scaturro of Sacramento, California; sons, Ronald Brooks of Diamond Bar, California, and John Damm of Nipomo, California; and stepdaughters, Cynthia George of Kilauea, Hawaii, and Elaine Trotter of Lake Stevens, Washington.
He leaves eight grandchildren: Christa Ifland, Megan Juell, Craig Cowie, Julienne Damm, Jonathan Damm, Michael Brooks, Jessica Brooks and Andrew Brooks; and one great-grandchild, Audrey Ifland. He is also survived by one brother, Albert Damm.
Ron was a member of the St. George Elks. He had a passion for shooting and spent time with his children and grandchildren at the shooting range on their visits.
The family wishes to thank Intermountain Hospice for their thoughtful care and Metcalf Mortuary for carrying out Ron’s wishes of cremation.
